Few hours after her arrival she posted on different social media platforms “Hello from dis side..my second home🇬🇭.
@damarisjoi more sis.”
“It means a lot to me and our music industry as a whole, it makes me believe that I’m on the right track and people are feeling my work and this will motivate me and others to do and push more. I have been coming to Ghana quietly not recognized but since I dropped the jam with Stonebwoy and perform with him on the Ashaiman To The World Concert (ATTW) things have really changed, Ghana is becoming my second home now I’v started gaining recognition even though my plan is to shut down the whole place but every artist/producer that I’ve worked with in Ghana really love my work and I’m proud of that. It is a blessing to me and to us all in the music industry now I’m feeling like a real superstar but this not a magic thing it’s because of the hard work I’m putting in, management skills and above all blessings from God” Star Zee said when we caught up with her to get her take as to what such moves means to her and Sierra Leone music industry as a whole.
Since after her collaboration with Ghanaian dancehall male artist “Stonebwoy” of Bhim Nation she has gain a huge fan base in Ghana with lots of accolade for her. And she has said Ghana is her second home.
She is one Sierra Leone top artist and one of the artist that are making wave locally and internationally, and trying to change and rebrand Sierra Leone music industry.
