Sierra Leone: Your photos from the 2015 OBBA Reunion Weekend

In its 86th year of existence, the Old Bo School Boys Association in the USA held its annual 2-day reunion which ended in Maryland yesterday with a fundraising dance. Founded in 1906 the Bo Government Secondary School was established by the British colonial authorities to educate (or as some have argued ‘brainwash’) the sons of Paramount Chiefs. The school’s alumni includes my late grand father Alpha M. Kamara, Assistant Commissioner of Sierra Leone Police who was awarded the Queens Police Medal for Outstanding Service in 1967, the late Dr. Alfred Sallia Fawundu (d. 2010) UN Resident Representative in Ghana, and others like Maada Bio, and the recently selected Vice President of the All People’s Congress government of President Ernest Bai Koroma, Victor B. Foh. Yes that shade was intended 🙂
OBBA UK & Ireland will have its reunion and fundraising dance today at Club Nollywood in London.

You don’t have to be an Alum to attend the fundraising dance. Here are some ladies who made sure they attended too.
