Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Mase lose millions on Instagram

Over the past couple weeks Instagram informed its users that it would be deleting spambots from its lineup of over 300 million users. So when I woke up to find that I had lost 100 Instagram followers, it felt like losing dead weight. While regular folks like you and I may have lost just a couple dozen followers some celebrities have been hit rather hard.

Instagram heavy weights like Rihanna @BadGirlRiri and Kim Kardashian @KimKardashian saw their followers go down by over a million. Thats not a big deal if you have over 20 million followers like Kim K.

The IG purge seems to have hit on again off again rapper Mase the hardest. When he lost 1 million followers in the clean up, leaving just over 270k Mase immediately deleted his account.

Its Mase though, so maybe he’ll be back.
