Sierra Leone investor promotion agency, SLIEPA website hacked

If you ever questioned the importance of online encryption and security, let this be a warning to you. The website for Sierra Leone Import Export Promotion Agency (SLIEPA) www.investsierreleone.biz, the government parastatal charged with sharing information and facilitating foreign investment under the ‘open for business’ agenda has been hacked.

The website usually has information on how to invest, who to contact, and industry specific data. However today it has photos of half naked Algerian men. SLIEPA has been informed about the hacking, but they have yet to take action.
