Kei Kamara nominated for American Courage in Sports Award

Our very own Kei ‘Special K’ Kamara  also known as the Leone Star mostly likely to be on suspension has been nominated for a Courage in Sports Award. The America’s Choice Honoree recognizes individuals who have overcome monumental challenges to achieve greatness in the world of sports. Fans vote to select the sports person who they feel most embodies the award.

Kamara is up against 7 other athletes as finalists for the 2012 edition of “Courage in Sports”. The show, produced by Intersport, celebrates its 22nd year and the stories of each finalist’s inspirational journey will be on display when the one-hour special airs at 4 p.m. CT on November 11 (Sporting KC Weekly Update).
