A source at the Ministry of Energy, Power, and Water resources says that Prof. Ogunlade Davidson has been replaced by Oluniyi Robbin-Coker. Mr Davidson had previously replaced Haja Afsatu Kabba as minister after the first cabinet reshuffle in 2009. While at the Ministry of Energy, Prof Davidson and the manger of NPA Zubairu Kaloko had a long running dispute that was played out in the media. The dispute was said to have been over payment of monies by NPA to the management of Bumbuna.

The incoming minister, Robbin-Coker will be leaving his post as private advisor to the President stationed at State House. Before taking on a government post, Robbin Coker was Executive Director of the IFC/World Bank funded Sierra Leone Business Forum (SLBF). Prior to that he was an employee of Citibank in New York and an active member of the Sierra Leone Network.
