(pronounced M dot) came late last year when a friend loaded my external hard drive with a couple songs including Gentleman feat Wanlov and Babylon Breakdown. I found him on twitter and followed, in hopes to get a daily dose of his musical genius. One tweet lead to a DM and that led to a phone call and soon i was hanging out with M.anifest and his mom at their family house in Medina, Ghana. Fell in love with his ‘melanin medicine’, his mom, and that tasty fufu we had for lunch. I knew almost instantaneously that we would be friends for life. M.anifest’s music besides just the regular stomp your feet and shake your waist, offers both food for the intellectual mind and the most spectacular African vernacular u’ll hear on this side of the ocean. I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to introduce you to his work and the time has come. It is with much excitement that i share brand new single from that dude M.anifest “One Night Only” featuring Nigeria’s ElDee the Don.
